When Bonsai plant is playing hide and seek with moon light it a beautiful sight to see. Plants dance and sing to full moonlight. The mood of the plants swings with moonlight. There is ancient scientific reasoning explains the relationship between plants and the moon. During waxing moon stage the leaf growth increase because more water will be supplied to leaves when moon comes near the earth. Then during waning stage of moon the leaf growth reduces. Just like on full moon day there will be high tide and on new Moon day there will be low tide because of Moon's gravitational effect on the sea. There lots of research is went on relationship between Plants behavior and the Moon phases.
